MY NEW BOOK

My new book – Life Experiences of a Nobody – is a mixture of memoir and autobiography.  It has been quite a challenge to compile but after numerous edits I am hopeful that readers will find it amusing, entertaining and occasionally poignant.  I wanted to intertwine my own story with incidents where people other than me provided the main focus.

I believe that the book’s 26 chapters fulfil these intentions.  I arranged to ‘test drive’ the final version by having it read by someone who doesn’t know me well.  I specifically requested a realistic assessment of my efforts.  The feedback suggests that the book is an enjoyable and saleable product which would not only be appreciated by anyone who knows me, but also by those who don’t.

Initially, my aim is to try and recoup the publishing costs by contacting friends and acquaintances on my email list.  The reaction I receive from them will determine whether or not there should be a next stage.  Should sales eventually exceed costs, any profits will be distributed to charitable causes.
